Thus far working on these pieces has challenged me in several ways.  It has shifted my attention from the individual "seed" causing me to create more ambiguous objects that have a resemblance to things found in our natural world.
I am now working with a different format, forcing me to consider more design oriented questions.  How do the objects work together in the space?  Do they co-exist to convey a particular idea?
Working with new materials is always a growing experience.  I am challenged to search for solutions which can provide a great sense of elation when the end product is what I had envisioned.
I call this my "Tide Pool Series" because tidal pools were the initial inspiration for the way these pieces are grouped.  However, after some exploration and development of the idea, I have realized how many other natural occurring objects have similar qualities.
They are much more intensive than any thing that I have done before.

                 I hope you enjoy them.
