Made from porcelain and fired to cone 6 using glaze, terra sigillatta, and stain for the surface colors. When these pieces contain a single flower stem it appears as if the flower is growing out of the bulb. I make a variety of styles of these pieces. Below is a good representation of the different forms and colors I use. The pieces are all generally 4-5 inches tall, 5-6 inches wide. However, i am currently making them larger.
